I've always thought it would be the cities (in particular, the LARGE cities) that would be a barometer for when TSHTF. Large populations of idle, impatient people who have a propensity to loot and burn over the slightest imaginary provocation... or just because their sports team won. That's why I stay away from those death traps and live in the rolling hills of east Tennessee.
