Real Organic or natural farming/ranching takes years and is extremely labor intensive.

almost seems like a dual plot to not only starve the population but to repudiate organic farming and justify agribusiness as the savior.
It depends how you do it. I've seen people fail because they try to scale permaculture like it's a weedy garden. The issue I can see is you get a few university students who grow a few plants in a garden and they think that will feed the world.
