Oh but that's just it, I do see Him. I see Him when His people actually follow His example. I see Him when people forgive one another. When they love their enemies. When they feed the poor in the park and so forth.

Jesus is seen clearly through the good works of men who try to follow Him. Nothing to do with church and certainly no obsession with being right... Simply trying to do what is right by following His actions.

Speaking to Thomas in the upper room after the resurrection, with the other disciples there as well. The first time time Christ appeared to them Thomas wasn't there and commented later that he would believe when he could put his fingers in the wounds on his hands and feet. So Christ showed up again (both times inside a room with locked doors) and asked Thomas to see and touch for himself.
