Pure propaganda against sustainable organic farming methods in order to persuade the uneducated masses to accept the rule of the gates/monsanto/nwo for 2030. The entire country's agricultural system, including diverse crops would not have failed in one year. That's completely implausible. Not without drastic sabotage.
Using chemical fertilizers completely destroys the life in the soil. You can't switch from that to organic and expect the same yields in 1 year, that's just moronic. It will take a few years minimum for the soil to rebound and the life to come back. Not to mention all the chemicals saturated in the soil to leach off. This is nothing new. You see this exact same thing happen to American farms who want to switch off chemicals and go natural. Unfortunately this process cannot be rushed, it just takes TIME.
What 789, and booty said, plus these farmers were born and bred ,knowing only how to farm with chemicals. They do not even know how to farm organically. This same problem is coming to america and other large industrial farming nations. We are at the point that our soils are dead and will barely grow weeds, without a continual supply of chemicals. Luckily we have a small but growing group of farmers , slowly getting off of the chemical teat.
