Tell you what, I agree with the first statement "Our Dominant Food System Needs to Be Dismantled and Rebuilt” 100%
It needs to be rid of HFCS, Aspartame, GMOs, hormones, antibiotics, food colorings, any additives that don't belong in food, period. This is why I am HOPING it is being allowed to happen by the white hats.
My hope is that it will be used against them at a certain point, not to build some dystopian Soylent situation, but to purify our food supply and get back to a time when you could eat grocery-bought food and not become a FUCKING WHALE with diabetes and other medical problems.
...I will pray that your "hope" becomes reality....
It seems like it's being allowed, so if there's a plan, I'd think this was part of it.
...doggy grins....
Another fine mess the PTB are getting us into.
I just found out there's a new meat processing operation in my local town. I'm going to call them and find out if they sell retail cuts. Local food production is in our future, I believe.
...been doing that for years...
...I love paying the people who actually grow my food....
I'd have been doing that for years, too, but that kind of pickings are slim around here.
...that is the price you pay for not living in Mayberry,..
...doggy winks....
You used to be able to buy a side of beef or pork, have it processed and packaged, and you'd fill your chest freezer with it.
When I was in middle school, my dad and uncle had the bright idea to raise 6 hogs for food. While not entirely a bad idea, there is certainly a place to raise hogs, and our backyard was not it. Even though it was into the woods a bit (my dad owned 11 acres), it was not far enough away.
The play is clear: Right now they’re getting ready to tear all our old food systems down, with the stated aim of 6uilding 6ack 6etter.
But better for them,
not for us.
...righteous indignation is a wonderful thing....
...doggy winks....
