Why do you call it "black matter"? The term is "dark matter" and has been the subject of research for decades now. Some physicists think it's a major building block of the universe but it's still in the theoretical stage trying to isolate it. That's why they are setting up research sites deep in the earth's crust, where fewer quantum particles can penetrate.
