Slightly OT: I watched the Patriot on 7/4 with the comments of the director on in the background. The exchange where Mel Gibson tells the guy before the war is over he is going to kill him and the guy challenges him to do it now, the response of 'Soon', was ad libbed by Mel Gibson. It worked so well they kept it.
