He was also "Make Japan Great Again" and wanted to rebuild up Japan's military. He advocated for Taiwan. Lots of hate from the left.

My son lives in Japan and there were never vaccine mandates or passports. The government told businesses and schools not to discriminate against the unvaccinated. My son has more freedom in Japan than he does in Canada, sadly.
