Who the heck fornicates without contraception? It is the sine qua non of fornication
How about advocating chastity and continence? Wouldn't that be better education than teaching them how to use birth control and fornicate with it?
There are theological reasons why contraception (even in cases of marriage) are immoral, and it's somewhat involved and I don't want to go into it. But on the whole, the harms of making contraception widely available outweigh any benefits they may accrue.
There used to be laws against fornication, just like there used to be laws against birth control and sodomy. They were repealed by, most likely, free masons in order to destroy the morality of Americans.
