Have a parent on fixed income that uses insulin daily. Due to the inflation and the increase in the cost of insulin, he’s having a harder and harder time affording it. $357 per month for just the insulin at Walmart when it used to be nearly free under trump. Anyone have any ideas on what he can do or where he could look to get a better price? I know this isn’t the typical type of post on this site, but I love him and want to help- and you guys are the smartest ppl I know

Does his doctor or hospital have a geriatric nurse who works as an ombudsman with patients having any kind of problems? Mine does, she's paid for by Medicare. If so, they will help if there's any kind of program for getting free or reduced cost meds through the pharm companies.
Also, find any free medical clinics in your area. They can and will help too.
Okay, I will look into this. Thank you!!
