Have a parent on fixed income that uses insulin daily. Due to the inflation and the increase in the cost of insulin, he’s having a harder and harder time affording it. $357 per month for just the insulin at Walmart when it used to be nearly free under trump. Anyone have any ideas on what he can do or where he could look to get a better price? I know this isn’t the typical type of post on this site, but I love him and want to help- and you guys are the smartest ppl I know

Studies have found that losing enough weight to decrease the fat surrounding and choking out the pancreas by one or two grams causes it to begin producing insulin. However in the process of losing that weight around that one gland the person often loses upward of forty pounds.
