In my unit we are finally getting notified that they are going to deny our Religious Accommodation Requests for the covid vaccine, on the grounds that we are not deployable assets without it. However, if you have HIV that is fine. We can still appeal it at this point, but I do not have it in me to continue to fight to stay in an organization that I no longer have trust in my leadership or confidence in the mission.

You are at a cross road my friend. You need to understand the whole system and we mean the whole system is coming down. That includes the federal military. Without the deep state there is no war and no need for the military. We need peace once and for all. We have over a trillion in ammo, few hundred million guns lost in boating accidents, and a few generations of hard core door kickers waiting to tap in.
I can tell you we were never to have a Fed military force. It was supposed to be militias. The US has been at war 225 out of 245 years by the deep state. So maybe around 20 years of peace? We have been used as a war machine to punish those who don’t get inline. We aren’t the good guys because we all have been lied to.
In the end it’s just a job, nothing more. If you leave, take a 3-6 month break, drive across the US and enjoy it. See what you have been missing. Then beside what you want to do.
This has always suck with me when things in life get difficult. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
Be proud. Stand tall and never compromise your integrity.
Thank you, I understand what u/Slyver/ is saying above, but I have an 80 yr old mother with Alzheimer's living with me now, and I need to focus on family. I am Air National Guard so not full time, but I have served 14 years of my life. I can say that through all of this I have learned to put more faith in God and stand on His promises when things seem dark.
