what's the consensus on President Trump endorsing him? I saw some talk that it was to make him a target so people would uncover the truth about him, but it seemed pretty obvious that he's scum so whats the play? Maybe get him in and then show he's compromised and replace him later without needing to vote?

He was definitely selected as a litmus test, Trump has done it before. He endorses the worst candidate because he hates the GOP—he is trolling them. He knows Oz is a lost cause, and the GOP is now scrambling to have Trump stop endorsing losers. Now they have to do as Trump says or else, he truly is a genius.
