I almost forgot to mention the animals. Out in the country they can expect coyotes and mountain lions. Farms have dogs they tend to favor blue tick heelers tough little dogs . GSD rottweilers and pitbulls are also popular here
Also the men here would make Hodir look like a dwarf.
Oh and you should see what the coyotes do to deer remains...there's nothing left except a wet spot on the ground. No skidsteers needed lol.
We have several bobcats on our property that we catch on our game cams every month or two.... along with coyotes, foxes, etc. I haven't seen a bear here yet, but about 20 miles north of me, there are bears in the woods too! Oh, and alligators :)

Bears are rare in my neck of the woods but they are around, no wolves yet, they tend to hang out in Canada and Minnesota.
We do have fox, and bobcats. I have heard coyotes at night outside of town someone said they've been in town.
