But there in, lies the problem. We have confused peace with comfort. Comfort is a measure of worldly satisfaction, while peace is both your fundamental and ultimate state of being. Peace is freedom from your ego. Peace is Faith. We have been blinded by our ego. We are lead not by god but by fear. We are lead not by reality but by thoughts. We are lead not by love but by hate.
We have let the children of Satan run amuck. The Freemasons and their ilk have rotted society to its core and we have allowed it because we just want to live our lives in peace. We live in hate and anger, while our world rots, and we tell ourselves we want peace.
What are we doing?! When are we going to do the right thing? Don’t pretend like I don’t know where your mind immediately went. What is the right thing? How do we know what the right thing is?
The right thing is forgiveness. Everything else comes after. It doesn’t matter what your ego says, if you have hate, you aren’t headed for peace.
It doesn’t matter what was done to you. It doesn’t matter what they did.
That is why they hate Christ. Forgiveness is Christs message. Forgiveness will return you to God. They hate God.
It is a difficult concept, I agree! I am lucky if I grasp this even for a moment.
This week on Tuesday, we commemorated St. Paisios of Mt. Athos. For that reason, I've been (re)reading many of his teachings. Here are a couple of them:
Is this not a strange concept? I think so, but I also think it's beautiful. I hope to someday attain such a state of being.
