I watched an interesting video about a year ago, describing how the modern system of suburbia is essentially an unsustainable pyramid scheme. New communities get Federal dollars to build infrastructure...water, gas, electric, bridges, etc., and those things tend to last about 30 years or so given the size of the original community. As things grow, infrastructure needs upgrading or replacing, and the only way these communities can pay for it is either raising taxes or encouraging more people to move to the area...compounding the problem. It's a classic case of kicking the can down the road.
If the communities can't attract new residents, and current residents age and/or jobs are lost, the only two choices are for communities to either get absorbed into larger metropolitan areas, or turn into ghost towns.

Very interesting. If you can find a link to that video I would be interested to check it out.
I'm not sure if this is the exact video I watched, but it contains the same talking points: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IsMeKl-Sv0
Thank you. That was a good video.
And those at the very top are often not even citizens of your own country but, they are the ones where the money pools around. Capstone needs to go.
Yes. I very much believe that to be true.
Our only hope is to remove the "missing capstone"??? ...Really? I do believe Moses once had that same exact thought!
