As some of you probably seen yesterday i was talkin about how i found God while in jail for my alcoholism... just wanted to share that i attended my first ever AA meeting tonight.
Glad to know i have a faith based support system both here and in my actual community
I’m going to a faith based recovery program called Celebrate Recovery on Sunday for the first time in over a decade. They host them at churches and have groups all over the country. Best of luck to you
I'll be attending church for the first time this Sunday. There's one right behind where I just moved to last night, like they're literally on the other side of the fence lol so I'm gonna try them...but if it isn't the right fit for me there's several in the area, so I'll keep looking until I find the right one to call a new family.
I also plan on getting baptized

https://www.youtube.com/c/MidnightRide/videos If you want live answers, Saturday nights starting at 10:00 pm there's a chat room on YouTube. Friday starting at 6:00 pm there's a chat room you can get to through https://www.fojcradio.com/ David Carrico's wife posts in that chat.
Thanks I'll have to check them out
The true temple to worship in is within our own hearts minds and souls...but, I'm gonna look around my community till I find a church that's right for me
Here's one more thing I would've liked to have known early on, get a King James Bible. It was translated by Puritans, not occultists.
Here's a good 1:50 minute segment to prepare you to look for a church (fellowship is good and right, but don't do the equivalent of paying big money to send your virgin Christian daughter away to university. Don't pay for your own destruction. It's not the 1960s/1860s anymore.)
