Experienced my first random death last week. Guy at work. 28, nice guy, soft spoken, wife found him dropped dead in the front yard over the weekend. I don't know his vax status and it seemed crass to ask, but he was young and otherwise healthy and just dropped dead. This company had a big push for vaccination before I started here so it wouldn't surprise me.

It's pretty jarring to come back to work two days later and find out a guy you were just joking around with randomly dropped dead.
