If you can get a used electric car with a battery that isn't used up, and you put 75k miles on it before it breaks: then it'll cost about the same as a cheaper used ICE car plus the gas to drive it for those 75k miles. However, you can fix a used ICE car after those 75k miles, and an electric car is totaled when the battery is dead (replacing the battery is almost the same cost as buying another similar electric car). There are some places that will replace the batteries with a used battery from a wreck, new batteries are mostly unavailable. Essentially if you don't drive 10k-15k miles a year you are way better off with an ICE car. Plus no range anxiety.
