Thanks frens for all your thoughts and prayers. The advice and stories have made us both feel 100 times better.
She was admitted to a hospital with a level 3 NICU. They were able to hold off her labor for a few days, but regardless as of this morning at 4:30, she’s 6cm dilated and could give birth any time.
We wish he had more time, but our doctors are very optimistic about his survival. If he does survive, he will likely spend the next few months in the NICU.
Spirits are high. God is watching over my family… I know it. Please continue to send prayers. Thank you all. 🙏♥️
Prayers up. May mom and baby be just fine. We love all of you. My step dad was born weighing in at 2lbs, 4oz in 1942. His butt fit in a coffee cup. They sent him home where his parents incubated him in the oven! He’s still with us. The only damage suffered was to his ears. He’s still with us today. Just turned 80 in March. The power of God blows me away.
Amen! My husband was an Rh baby back in the early 50s. Only 5lbs something at birth. They transfused him but still didn’t think he’d survive. But the nuns in the Catholic NICU (whatever they called it back then) refused to give up on him. The family wasn’t Catholic but those nuns baptized him anyway and prayed him through it. The transfusions wrecked his hearing as well, but he’s alive and well 67 years later - and finally has some great hearing aids that have changed his life! God is good!
