For all who may use mylar bags to store food in, Amazon will not sell them after early August. Heads up, preppers.
📦 Long-term Prep 📝
Their "reasoning" is because of drug dealers use the mylar bags and they block odors and aromas of what's inside, making it easier to smuggle.
We know it's to control preppers and what they do for themselves.

I've been watching a ton of border security tv shows recently. They say quite often how dumb people are for thinking they can mask smells with coffee or in mylar bags. Dogs and humans can smell right through them. Amazons excuse has zero basis in real life, and law enforcement will say so as well. Why are they trying to stop the sale?
You can't. I've worked dogs for 18 years. Some guy would think he solved the problem and bring it To us and the dogs always found rhe dope. It's difficult tonwork with many products that don't have static. Even those static free bags have an ionization that odor can stick to. It's all molecular and the dog still can smell it. At some point the exterior of the container gets exposed to the product going inside. It van and will attach. Having said that I'm still looking for a way to trick the dogs by denying them odor through packaging and placement. It not easy and I've never succeeded.
You've gotten to work with dogs?! That is a dream job of mine.
