I'm willing to bet they wouldn't use some kind of 1950s style bright chrome handcuff. Wherever the nuclear suitcase is, it probably has something very discreet connecting it to the handler, so as not to attract attention. Makes sense?
IMO, I don’t think attracting attention (or not) is on the list. Anyone after the NF would know exactly what it is.... and a president is attracting a decent amount of attention whatever he goes. Did you have a different perspective?

It just seems to me the whole idea of having it as an indescript black suitcase carried casually by a designated agent supports that they don't want to draw attention to it. Hence I don't believe they would use flashy handcuffs. I could be wrong, I'm not in that business.
