What pistol was used in the actual shooting?

My guess...Glock 19, but may have been a smaller pistol with a 10 round capacity as I think he emptied the mag on the POS so maybe a sig p365 etc..8 out of 10 hits. Indiana doesn't have mag capacity restrictions like NY and CA....if he didn't empty his mag, and stopped after he noticed the perp was dead, then glock 19 would be my guess.

A model 26 is a smaller 19 that holds maybe 10 rounds... I read he stopped shooting when bad guy went down. If he used a 26 with an even smaller open site/barrel he is incredible.
