Timing is convenient. Wonder if there are other bills coming forth that Manchin doesn't want to support (good for us!). Manchin is a stand-up guy from what I see, but he has to walk a fine line to serve 2 masters (the dems and his conservative WV base). He did refuse to support that BBB bill a few months ago (although several RINOs took up the slack.) He's not up for re-election for Senate seat until 2024.

I voted against him the last time he ran. He does seem to be doing a good job, though. He has stopped multiple bills from passing.
