"We need a fresh start, unburdened by what has been."

I've always wondered why they haven't recruited a popular hollywood type to run, a la George Clooney or Matt Damon, etc. Name recognition already there, secret tapes already made, so the candidate can be controlled... what's not to like?

So where did trump stand when elon was behind the bulletproof glass?

LEO has a radio. Reinforcements would be there in minutes and would arrest them and confiscate an expensive helo too.

So what exactly is everybody thinking actually happened? If he was good enough later to descend the stairs off AF1 in Delaware to self quarantine, he couldn't have had any major event, right?

He's going back to the same fair grounds. I hate this. Wish SS would hide his clubs and also never let him outside for at least the next 35 days. The wannabe killers only have to be lucky once. SS has to be good every single time, and, if they are compromised....

Yes but when he ran the first time he was in his tour bus talking about deporting illegals way back then. Then came the missile.

He's looks to be about as warm as a snake. Doesn't play well to a populist crowd. Best to have him in an advisory capacity and as a pundit to get his ideas out there. Won't argue about the guy's intellect, though.

These need electricity to run. Not dissing the huge effort and investment by Elon, but not sure about helping a whole lot of 'affected' people right now.

With your direct involvement in the ports, what do you think about the posters on here saying some of the ports have been abandoned - turned into ghost towns, essentially? what would cause this?

On another completely separate post, someone earlier today tagged a video of private helo operators going in and out - and one of them said they saw all kinds of military, chinooks for people and cargo movement, etc. With photo. I think that maybe this is so massive that left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing.

I couldn't even imagine the fear I would feel if I were on the ground with air sirens blaring and missiles hitting in my city. So helpless. Most of those people are completely innocent in this mess. Those that aren't are probably in bunkers, safely underground. :(

I think it was the winds that caused the immediate damage - flooding in lower areas is aftermath damage. But I agree about evacuation. Lived in Florida for a number of years. Nothing worth a life to us 'normal' people on the board. Criminals with something to hide...that's another story. Watch out for them.

Maybe they could seed clouds to start storms 1/3 of the world away but there is nothing that could control the path of cat 1 - 5 hurricanes. Forecasters can't even predict the path from studying them weeks at a time, 24 hours/day. No way 'wind streams' can be controlled. (Maybe a nuclear weapon's detonation could disturb the winds with a blast but that's not happening here.)

Not a lawyer - how can a federal govt have standing in state voter rolls? Trump got kicked for no standing in challenging his own 2020 election, how can this current 'flip' of the rule possibly fly?

I don't understand. I hear that NSA records every communication nowadays. Or is that just metadata of 'who, when and how long' were called/texted?
