Looks like he was charged “… based on nonpublic information he received as a consultant after he left office.”

So let me get this straight, it’s completely ok to make trades based on nonpublic knowledge of upcoming legislation WHILE in office, but not permissible if making trades as a consultant after you leave office. 🤦🏼‍♀️
