I'm a former liberal. At what point did YOU know you were done with the left?

I guess I could have been considered liberal but most of my friends mocked me for be 'le edgy centrist'™.
For me, what did it was my pattern recognition. I started getting these gut feelings that things just weren't right. The media and even people's irl opinions had these gaping holes of inconsistencies. Like wasn't Donald Trump just that goofy weaky chinned guy from Home Alone? Or the eccentric billionaire with a hot Scandinavian wife? Why is he suddenly some racist homophobic xenophobic _______phobic boogey man all of a sudden?
And then all my husband's friends turned their back on him and started calling him those same names (all white liberals and 80% are forever alone bugmen).
So I guess the main answer is of when was I done with the left? Not one single moment but eventually it became a "fuck it I can't even adjacently identify with you emotional mosquitoes" and I registered independent. Probably should change that to republican so I can vote in my states primaries but, c'est la vie.
Edit: I tried to do bullet points but it turned into quotes lol
