JFK’s Handwritten Quote: “Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country”
Background The seventeen most inspiring words in 20th century American history were spoken by John F. Kennedy, around mid-day, on January 20, 1961, in Washington, D.C. The occasion was his presidential inauguration, and came as he was concluding his inaugural address. He had just declared that the torch had been passed to a new generation of Americans – “born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage” – and pledged to “pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.” Soon after, he spoke the seventeen words:

thank you for posting this...was good to look back on these very meaningful words, and I would swear that Trump has modeled many of his rally-ending comments along these lines...true back in 1961, and true today, although the "foe" is much different today, and right in our midst, waging their "war" of a very different kind... as we pray for peace and prepare for our battle ahead, ever mindful that God wins, and we are His, now and forever...no fear, friends, Jesus is our Savior, and all is and will be well...
you're welcome:) glad you found it helpful, it's one of my favorites. and I agree, President Trump has a similar way a speaking/presenting himself, almost like he knew/knows JFK personally. and If JFK was aware of '17', and the 'storm', he would have known their plans for that day in Dallas🧐... sure is a lot to ponder.
