I mean looking back I think it tells a different story when you think of the relationship between Trump and the Clintons, but one could have argued the same thing with GEOTUS back in the day. Obviously now that we know what we know it could've literally been a "keep your enemies closer" move, but who would've thought that back in the early 2000's?
