Can anyone recommend a few good survivalist books to have on hand (physically) if or when internet and power goes down?

For sure detailed maps of your area and written address book of your contacts. The first book that helped me know what to have on hand off line was James Wesley Rawles "When S*** hits the Fan", a modern overview and I now own a set of books "Firefox Series" which has directions for the old ways of everything before electricity. I like this blog which has ads and info for many resource materials:

I got the first six books. I haven't read them yet, but I know they are a huge resource. I started reading about how to get and house a bee colony in book 3 ..... Absolutely fascinating.
Thanks for the other recommendations!!
You are welcome fren - happy reading.
Great start, thank you!
