Didn't watch the video, but I can tell you that I have felt we've been on "The Hero's Journey" in this. Aka the Monomyth.
We are in the journey that every hero experiences, whether it's Gilgamesh, or Heracles, or Luke Skywalker.
It's not really Joseph Campbell who created this. One should read "The Golden Bough" to learn it as well. But actually we all know it almost "instinctively", because every hero story we've been told has these elements. It seems very clear that that is happening, and feels like it is intentional.

The part we are in right now is "The Underworld" or "The Abyss". Soon, if the metaphor holds, we will escape the Underworld and rise for the final battle.
