The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know.

I was - and oftentimes still am - in this exact place. While it's good to point out the weakness of following rather than independently researching, when a person is just coming out of their own personal darkness and into the light of true knowledge, they will often feel completely untethered.

If everything is a lie, how do they know where to look for truth?!

Breaking free from the slavery of programming is a process. It does take some tough love (like telling someone they must let go of the hivemind/follower mentality), but it also takes compassion. Provide some reliable sources for information, learning, and research along with the tough love advice to always verify and think independently.

And remember, the weakest point in the journey to truth is often found during the transition between being fully programmed to that of achieving the state of true knowledge.
