Unrealistic expectations by paper pushing bureaucrats. Typical.
There have been some heavy rain days in the Clark co area incl Boulder City recently, incredible, more like it used to be 20 years ago. We were driving yesterday coming back from AZ and the sides of the road were rivers of running water. Experts will say how the rain wont change it and Im gonna laugh when GOD fills up the lake and ruins their plan
My family has been in construction years ago, we had to move many times to follow the demand.
If they had a decent sheriff, he'd tell--and enforce--the effing feds to take a hike. They have absolutely NO jurisdiction.
Lake Mead and Lake Powell, which is also down somewhat, get most of their water from the "Upper Basin." The lower part of the Colorado River also gets water from the "Lower Basin." This rain below the latitude of Hoover Dam is greatly helpful, but it is true, it won't do much for Lake Powell and just a little for Lake Mead. It's helping the Salt River, which helps Phoenix and irrigation, and it certainly is helping with comfort and yard water.
