The cabal has no qualms in sacrificing one of their own "for the greater good," e.g. their own survival. Nanna can't win re-election honestly and is she worth the cost of rigging the election in her favor? The Illuminati can trade her off as a martyr, a Franz Ferdinand, create a false flag war, and postpone the elections.
