I've already decided I'm going to physically fight the next person that tells me to put a mask on. Luckily, I am in a major red state and don't have much worry. We all like to laugh on the baseball field about how Covid is a fucking joke lol
A lawsuit is justified and pending. If the office manager setting appointments has not declared their prerequisite to the patient, they are at fault. If it is ambiguous in any way the medical practice is at fault.
The medical system is a cesspool, and the county-run dental office in my small town isn't far behind. My private practice dentist that I saw for 15 years recently retired and now I'm stuck with the one county-run operation. They plague me about checking my blood pressure (those digital things are worthless and always read my BP way high), but don't have the records from my private-practice dentist because they threw them in the trash.
Doctors, especially at private hospitals (which the one is named in article), can refuse treatment, particularly when doing so does not cause immediate harm (this woman admits she hasn't been to a doctor in months, she's is obviously ok enough), and it's a 'reasonable' request that in a building full of sick people, doctors can require a mask.
I don't agree, but those are legal facts, unfortunately - or we'd be reading about case after case of patients refused treatments winning lawsuits.
Remember the days when the doc would come to your house and you just paid him cash? No insurance. No bullshit.
Have my first Dr appt since Jan. 2020 tomorrow. Haven't been because I refuse to wear a mask. Going to my orthopedic clinic. Hoping they haven't bought into the bs. Hoping I don't show my ass. It's been known to happen.
There's no law that says you have to wear a mask. This is criminal and she should sue the pants off of them.
...welcome to the American Police State.....

...welcome to the "Turd World"....
The only difference is we don't live in a litter box, but apparently it's a small distinction.
...HARP can change that in short order....
That's our A. Dog, always spreading sunshine and happiness. 😸

Rinse with rum? Like jack sparrow rum?
..Why is the rum always gone??
I don't see how that will fix a cracked tooth.
