Don't miss Netflix or cable TV in the least. First my family successfully swore off sports once the woke $hit was pushed in our faces. Then came all of cable and then Netflix after "Cuties". So much more time for reading, hobbies and getting my news and lefty culture disintegration from indie sources on the internet. We watch some DVDs of decent films now and then.
Yep, cutting the cord on all the NFL bullshit has made my life better, between August and January I basically lived for the weekends, to watch the Panthers basically get destroyed more times then not.
We loved our Sunday afternoon football too! Would record some of the morning games while at church. Watched baseball and hockey so it was a year-round thing.
Once the woke, anti-USA circus was shoved in our faces each game we stopped watching ALL sports. We were pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't so hard to do. The absolute plus was having more time to actively do things as a family.
We did it the opposite way. Cable was so expensive we had to get rid of it probably about 7 or 8 years ago. It was ridiculous paying for mediocre programming and tons of commercials. When the kneeling started with the NFL, we ditched all Pro sports. Pro athletes are nothing but manipulated tools, AKA slaves. Just watch the annual slave auction in April. Oh, I mean the draft.😂😂
So true!!! Wish we had cut the cord sooner, but I was so surprised how easy it was. And, yeah, cable TV is overpriced with lousy programming and way too many commercials.

It's so nice not having to care anymore.

Yep, Sunday's with the family was so much better now that football is gone :)
Ain't that the truth! :-)
