So I know they're constantly finding unexploded allied bombs in construction projects in the cities.
I'd imagine they defuse them and safely transport them to the warehouse for demolition later far away from people. The Lancaster bomber could iirc drop a 20,000 lb bomb. So they're no joke and probably can't be safely detonated in a populated area.
In the Twatter video there are all kinds of colors, green, blue, red, etc. Is that common with ordinance? I guess I always pictured them being more orange, yellow, red. It also appears that some of the explosions are up in the air, similar to how a firework first goes up and then explodes in a radius centered on the explosion. I was thinking if a stockpile exploded, all of the bombs explosion centers would be more ground based than air based.
I really don't know though. It just seems odd. I feel like someone launched a bunch of fireworks off at the ammo depot inside of thefence. Perhaps they were expecting the fireworks to ignite the actual ordinance. And maybe that happened.
It did mention that they stored seized illegal fireworks there prior to their detonation as well. Idk, it's Germany, nothing surprises me with the amount of stuff we dumped on them lol

My take on why it exists there.

Seems like some fakery going on to me.
