NYC's mayor Adams tells New Yorkers to drink the tap water in this commercial 2 weeks ago. Edited to add polio found in waste water, not tap water.
Today, it's been reported that NYC's waste water supply is tainted with polio.

Doesn't "Watch the water" mean "Watch the information" ??? . Why does anything with H2O, all of a sudden, become "Watch the water"?? . Sorry, just getting tired of the over use. Just me?
I tend to agree with you. Like disinfo is necessary. This is one case though where it could actually mean something if waste water starts to have a ton of polio waste stacking up, or smallpox. I know if I heard polio waste levels or some other bad disease started rising in the waste water near my city I would change some of my travel habits.
