Have made all our hygiene & cleaning items for years. Very easy to make - a few basic ingredients (cheap also) and you can make all your cleaning & hygiene products.
Toothpaste = baking soda & coconut oil (equal portions)
Deodorant = baking soda, coconut oil & a bit of beeswax
Windex = white vinegar (2 tbsp) and quart of distilled water
Dish soap is a bit more work - uses potassium hydrox instead of sodium (lye)
Laundry soap = washing powder (20 mule team), borax & fels naptha
Shampoo = baking soda in water followed by a rinse of acv vinegar in water
Basically white vinegar, coconut oil & baking soda you have everything you need for just about anything.
Caution with baking soda and teeth. It is too abrasive. So are the charcoal tooth scrubs. A blend of oils is all you need, amd is much less violent on your enamel. HealthyMouth (Heal Thy Mouth) has an oil blend for brushing. Just a few drops on your toothbrush. Their ingredient list is prob a good place to start researching this toothpaste alternative.
