The thing that keeps me off this is flight times. There’s several examples that don’t make sense if the earth was flat. For example, check out a flight from Japan to New York City in the northern hemisphere and then a flight from Sydney to Santiago in the southern hemisphere. (You have to stop in Auckland). On a globe that should be roughly the same distance. On a flat earth there’s absolutely no comparison that the second is much much longer than the first. However if you look up commercial flight times you’ll see they’re pretty comparable. So how can you make that “outer ring” trip in roughly the same time it takes to make the “inner ring” trip?
