The epistles are written to the saints, that is us. You don't graduate to sainthood, you are one by way of you holy life in Jesus Christ. That is how the word is used biblically, now if you want to use Babylon doctrine to describe the word, I guess it's a place we don't reach in this life. You are made a saint in the Faith Andy. Walk as one, or the term makes you a hypocrite.
Yes this is the PROMISE not the present reality. No flesh shall glory before the Lord, and I'm not going to break that rule. The Holy Spirit has convicted me and I have yielded to his verdict.
You'd think the Holy Spirit would agree with the Bible.
Romans 1:7 to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Rome they were called as saints.
1 Corinthians 1:2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:
Saints by calling.........you calling is to be a saint.
2 Corinthians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,To the church of God which is at Corinth with all the saints who are throughout Achaia:
There were saints throughout Achaia in the days of Paul..........how about today Andy, can we saints? Hint, it means holy ones.
Colossians 1:2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
Colossians is addressed "to the saints", do you think that includes you? I say it does.
Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,To the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus:
Ephesians is addressed to the saints who are at Ephesus...............I think you can be included, it applies to the New Testament church, you Andy, you are a saint, unless you have some sort of doctrine that says you're not......but it does not agree with the Bible.
Philippians 1:1 Paul and Timothy, bond-servants of Christ Jesus,To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, including the overseers and deacons:
Philippians is addressed to all saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi! That is you Andy, you are a saint.
1 Corinthians 14:33 for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
1 Corinthians talks about all the churches of the saints............that is you Andy.
Ephesians 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household,
You again Andy, a fellow citizen with the saints
Colossians 1:26 that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints,
It's a mystery(secret) Andy, what has been hidden, in now manifest to His saints.......that is you!

You'd think the Holy Spirit would agree with the Bible.
It's all a symbol, remember?
Revelation is symbolic spiritual representation of Jesus Christ working in His people. The Epistles are written to the Body of Christ from an Apostle, of Jesus Christ. The Apostle called you a saint on multiple occasions, so you're a saint Andy, live up to it.
