I was in the Military in 1969! No way did we go to the Moon in 1969! They sure in the hell didn't have any way to stuff the lunar landing module into the Apollo Space Capsule! Watch any of the NASA landing movies and the communications were instantaneous with Houston and the Space Capsule! There's no way in hell!
