The abuse of power here is so obscene that Trump's base will be doubly galvanized. Even if Garland indicts Trump (which would appear to be the cause of this obscenity today), it will have no basis or substance. They think that Trump supporters will be demoralized by this action, but the exact opposite will result, the Deplorables will be motivated to take action at the polls.
