Then they will fuck around and schedule the trial right before the election.

Edit- Jokes on them, though. It's not Trump they needed to worry about. It's MAGA, and the Great Awakening which happens because of it.

Take away Trump, we have Jim Jordan, or Noem, or DeSantis, or Lake, etc.

With the primaries showing where the heart of the populace lay, and with eyes watching in key spots, they could give MAGA the Presidency and the majority of the Republican House, allowing them to set agendas and conduct investigations.
