That site is the furthest thing from journalism. It would be really, really, really prudent to check independent second sources if you want to take stuff from Rumor Mill News seriously.

I honestly don't trust Rumor Mill News. A lot of what they post is a ton of crap. At the same time, I feel this was somewhat newsworthy. The problem is that the poster didn't provide the source link.
As far as the Old Dutch chips are concerned, they likely changed the recipes a bit. Among their products is the boxed version of their regular and rippled chips. This version, one can find two or three foiled bags of chips within a box. According to my brother Jscholl9, They changed the recipe in order to make people sicker. What I am guessing is that more research is needed into Old Dutch.
Everybody is doing it, changing recipes. For cheap ice cream, the hot thing is nanocellulose -- wood powder. It's a filler. Heavily processed foods -- try to reduce it in your diet. Also, a lot of things have artificial butter smell -- it's not butter.
Generally, Rumor Mill News can't be taken seriously. They may talk about who and who has been hung -- no way of checking such information. That's the problem, cross-checking all the wild stuff on that site. When I first found that site, long ago, I browsed it for a few days, but stopped when I realized that almost everything cannot be verified.
I agree. A lot of the stuff on Rumor Mill News can't be verified and therefore I will not post it. But this board is a research board and Old Dutch is something that needs to be researched.
