Good point. It just seems to the ongoing theme of, "it's all a movie, grab your popcorn." Never sounded like a call to arms to me or anyone raising concern. It seems to imply everything is peachy. Also the same "movie" people seem to think everyone out there is a white hat and any rumor about an event 2 weeks from now is "winning" regardless of a confirmed outcome. Obviously I'm extrapolating and making assumptions. Apologies for those still a little wary of the current situation.
I understand how you feel, the whole two weeks thing, used to be a huge joke for me. But also yes, we do grow weary from time to time.
But I found that if I put my trust in the Lord, attend my church weekly, I will go to Womens Bible Study me and my mom, and reread guys word every morning. It’s sure changes your outlook on Life. Things aren’t perfect, but to be perfectly honest, I’ve never been happier. I have more peace in my heart, and knowing that Jesus Christ sits on the throne.
Some days, the more I see going wrong, the happier I am! Because it just means Jesus is going to be here sooner. I’m happy for that.
But overall, we have a home to live in, both of our vehicles are paid for, we have enough money to survive and put food on the table, we have a great Bible believing church family, and a lot of the things that you see on the daily news just really don’t affect me personally.
That doesn’t mean that I don’t have concerns, and that I’m not doing my part locally, because that’s how we have to build this country back. Starting at the local level. Once Trump does get back in the office, and he will… He needs to have the infrastructure bill and put into place so he could be more effective than last time.
Be of good cheer! Christ has overcome the world, unfortunately we just have to live through it for a little while longer. God bless you and have a great night!
I hope to be of good cheer. I mean to say generally I am. I really have nothing personally to complain about. And one can always make peace with the present moment. Thanks for the reminders.
