All warfare is based on deception.

Appear strong when you are weak.

Weak when you are strong.

I don't think we should accept this - that China is weak. I don't think they are, despite the silly fake hydrogen tractors.

I also don't think China wants a war with the USA.

They are holding $981 Billion dollars of our debt. If war breaks out they lose that. $981 billion dollars is a lot of money.
