What I see is a man with mega dollars and a screw loose. The money allows him to pursue his fantasy world of digital computer controlled transhumanism. When a person has hundreds of billions like Gates, there will always be people willing to align with him to get their hands on it. Much like Mark Zuckerbucks spreading cash around to state election officials. There will always be people willing to take the money and do as asked. The end result is corruption. Corrupt medicine, corrupt elections. Politics has always been corrupt but it's never had the kind of mega money like that of George Soros driving people's actions.

Now, add to this money derived from trafficking in drugs, people, contraband and we get the crisis at the border, corrupt intel agencies, and now a country awash in fentanyl and missing children. We watch our schools degrade, our institutions of higher learning becoming indoctrination centers and we wonder how things have gotten this bad. The short answer is too much money in too few hands.

In Trump's case, he has enough money that he can't be bought off. That's why the bad guys hate him. But it does show that money itself isn't the corruptor, it's the mental state of the person with the money. Since society seems to equate money with freedom, the more money you have, the more freedom you are given to do whatever you want, even if it's crazy. That needs to change.
