yeah licenses are only for certain weapons like fully automatic machine guns and sawed-off shotguns so far as i know. some states still require a license to CONCEAL carry. I take your meaning but words matter, and making people think they need a special license or have to become registered to own a firearm just make them reluctant to do so. I dunno how they do it in Commiefornia, licensed firearms retailers have to keep the criminal background paperwork on people who purchase from them for a few months, could be that information which leaked.
not my intention hopefully no one took it that way, I was just referencing a specific study that I cant find anymore and it was based on some license or registration, maybe it was done in canada idk
