I ask this for many reasons but i rememeber a Rogan podcast where he has someone on that was developing phones that could not be traced like the androids can be.. and he said that anything that is deleted, is easily accessible. Where does deleted stuff go? To the cloud? Does a VPN help hide anything in that regard? Is a VPN really worth it or is using a different browser, like Brave, just as good? I rememeber him saying that android phones are constantly updating, many times a day, and when it does it uploads all your phone history to a cloud.. who has access to this cloud?

I have been thinking about this stuff more recently because I got a call from a collection agency, Transworld.. sounded phishy but later realized it was legit, I forgot a tenant of mine moved out and the electricity bill went in my name for a couple weeks.. I called the energy company, and they needed my social security number for security reasons, and I paid the bill. 10 minutes later, I received another collection agency call, this time a different collection company called ProCollect, they had my social security number, and the only half my address was correct.. and we'll anyways, I remembered when I was talking to the first energy company the legitimate one, the phone was echoey... how hard would it be for someone to tap in to a phone line? Probably just a weird coincidence, but I had to file a police report to report someone having my social security number. The energy company that was trying to collect money was a company only used in Dallas Texas and I am in NY.. so definitely fraudulent.
